i've always had a special feeling for walking in the rain, in the city, when it's dark.

the wet streets glisten with the reflections of the orange street lights..

the people walking past so quickly in large strides, even more faceless because of the speed and the umbrellas or hoodies that obscure their faces.

in a space where so many different people pass each other, the woman with the red umbrella with ears sticking out at the top, the man in the hood and long scraggly beard, the suited man with the umbrella with the sharp lighting conductor-ish end...

i pause, letting all these swim past me.
